Our church is located downtown at the corner of 6th Street and Kellogg Avenue, right across the intersection from the main post office on the northeast corner.

Mission Statement
The educational mission for the United Church of Christ - Congregational of Ames, Iowa is to provide a center of faith that nurtures spiritual growth to enable learning about God through Christ and his teachings, and to encourage growth in the understanding of the Bible.
All people are valued as unique and special children of God and are welcomed.

Church School for All Ages (Sundays, 9:30-10:30 AM)

Little Disciple Preschool
Preschool children discover how they are special in the eyes of God through play and art activities.
Olde Town Rotation Workshop
Olde Town is a multi-dimensional approach to faith education. Children Pre-K through sixth grade spend several Sundays learning one Bible story through art, drama, music, dance, computers, stories, etc.
Junior High Sunday School
Junior High students (Grades 7-8) meet for Sunday School each week in room 101.
Youth Sunday School
Youth (Grades 9-12) meet in the youth room each week for discussion, prayer, and spiritual growth.
Learning Center
The Learning Center, an adult forum on various faith-related topics, meets in Fellowship Hall during the church school hour. The group chooses its own topics for presentation and/or discussion. Presenters are from the church and the community.
Child Care
Childcare is provided for infants during church school and 0-5 years during worship. Our nursery is located at the end of the east hall of the educational wing upstairs in Room 212. Qualified care providers create a safe and caring environment for your child.
(Summer Nursery is 9:15-10:30 AM, and is located in the air conditioned Little Disciple Preschool room.)

Because we value and care about the well-being and safety of our people, we have adopted policies, procedures, and screening tools to assist the church in protecting the well-being of our children, youth, and adults.
