Where to Park
Most people park in the City of Ames lot east of the church (north of the Ames Public Library). Parking is free on Sundays. Four spaces near the church’s east entrance are marked for visitors. Take the sidewalk between the house (church office) and the church. Enter through the double doors. A greeter will direct you to the sanctuary and can also direct you to the nursery.

There are two other entrances. The southwest corner of the church has outside stairs to a door directly into the sanctuary. The west entrance from Kellogg Avenue has outside stairs as well as an elevator entrance south of the stairs. There are handicapped parking spaces by the west entrances.

Come by City Bus
The church is one block east of the CyRide red route bus stops for the Ames Public Library.

Bikes Too
Bicycles may be left in the bike rack next to the south double doors of the church’s east addition.

Who Attends
Children, high school and college students, adults, and seniors worship at Ames United Church of Christ. More than half the congregants come from faith backgrounds other than the UCC. Laborers, professional people, unemployed, single people, couples, families —you’ll find them all here. Wear whatever feels comfortable from shorts and T-shirt to suit. There will be someone who is dressed similarly.
