Purpose:
The purpose of the Theologian in Residence program is to stimulate thinking, dialogue and action concerning issues of interest to faith communities. 

Registration Instructions

Our Theologian-in-Residence event is open to everyone without charge. Whether you choose to attend in person or online, we ask that you register for the event so that you can receive reminders and so that we can adequately plan for you.

About the Speaker

Picture
The Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III is the Senior Pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, he is an NAACP Image Award recipient, an award-wining filmmaker, poet, and professor of homiletics at Mercer University's McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta. 

Rev. Dr. Moss is one of the country's most renowned and beloved spiritual and civil rights leaders. He is ordained in the Progressive National Baptist Convention and the United Church of Christ. 


Rev. Dr. Moss is the author of several books, including Dancing in the Darkness: Spiritual Lessons for Thriving in Turbulent Times.


Program Donations

All Theologian in Residence events are free and open to the public. However, if you are able, we request that you consider making a donation to help support the costs of our program. The cost to us is approximately $30 per family attending. We would welcome donations of any amount. If you make a donation, you will receive a receipt for any amount contributed. Thanks in advance for your help!
