Job Opening: Church Musician
The Ames United Church of Christ seeks to staff its music ministry with one or more highly qualified individuals, based upon their skills and interests. Music is an integral part of the life of this progressive Protestant, open and affirming church which strives to serve a diverse congregation. Musicians must have a theological understanding and commitment to an open and affirming church. Applicants should indicate in their application the one or more areas in which they have interest: keyboardist/accompanist, organist, and/or choir director. If multiple individuals are hired, the music staff will work collaboratively, with guidance from the Co-Pastors, to fill the needs of the congregation’s music ministry.
